Delete your account and data
This page explains how to request deletion of your Crypto Scanner account and the data associated with it.
Crypto Scanner is published by GURZ LTD, Rue Gallait 22, 1030 Schaerbeek, Brussels, Belgium. You can delete your account at any time, free of charge, using either method below.
Option 1 — Delete from inside the app
- Open Crypto Scanner and sign in.
- Open the Profile tab.
- Tap Delete Account (or open Account Settings → Delete Account).
- Type DELETE in the confirmation field, then tap Delete My Account.
Your account is disabled immediately, you're signed out, and the data is permanently deleted as described below.
Option 2 — Request deletion by email
- Send an email to support@gurz.com from the email address registered to your account.
- Use the subject line "Crypto Scanner account deletion request".
- We verify ownership of the address and confirm by email once the deletion is complete.
How long it takes: requests are processed within 30 days of verification. Encrypted backups that may still contain your records are rotated out within 90 days, after which no copies remain.
What is deleted

What is kept, and for how long

Deleting some data without deleting your account
You can remove individual price alerts, watchlist entries, and saved exchanges directly in the app without deleting your account. Market data shown in the app is public exchange data and is not personal to you.
